The Marianist Mission is a nonprofit organization focused on prayer, spiritual support, Marianist ministries, and support for Marianist Brothers and Priests. When I came to work for them, their emails were disorganized and not effective. The solution was to create a consistent visual identity for all emails consisting of a header with the organization’s logo, a footer with contact information, and a clear call-to-action. An increased online presence resulted in an increased amount of online donations. In the year of the launch of the email re-designs, the organization earned over $20,000 in online donations, the open rate increased by 15% and the click-thru rate of about 3%.
